Beautiful and peaceful. Lots of critters to observe- dolphins, rays, jelly fish, gulls, etc. Great for shell hunting, too. Watch folks fishing on the jetty, boats of all kinds coming and going through the inlet. Biplanes flying over head, people parasailing. Great expanses of clean silky sand beach and yes, you can see the sunset over the ocean on the East coast!

This beach is only open during the off season. Closes April 1st. It's a great, secluded spot to search for shells. No swimming allowed.

This is a great area to get away from people and look at nature. It is very big with lots of hidden areas to walk around and watch birds. It has parking areas in diffrent locations with dunes and a long jetty to walk on. Theres alot of horseshoe crabs on the beaches and alot of diffrent birds to look at. Sometimes the beach is closed due to birds laying eggs on the sand so you cant go...

Drove 25 minutes to go to this beach. Im not from the area. Parked and walkes half way to the beach just to be told that its bird watching season and we were not allowed on the beach. Very...
