A must-visit for anyone who loves roadside attractions or creativity in general. A free walk-through museum filled with stories, handmade art, and (correct) opinions about what makes a good souvenir. Even has room for nuanced opinion about the value of 'Americana' and who gets to tell the stories of these World's Largest Things. A highlight for a road trip...

Lovely, self guided, free little museum. Just walk in. I appreciated learning about the roadside attractions and having them put into context. We bought stickers -- it took us a while to figure out you have to double up the coins to make it work! I highly recommend it. Also check out the rest of the attractions in Lucas, it's a special...

If you’re looking for a fun and unique winter trip, Lucas in Russell County, Kansas is it! [SAVE for your next trip.] This town is the Grassroots Capital of Kansas, and with all the quirky art and good vibes it is easy to see why! Add these to your list: ✨Bowl Plaza: Yes, this is a restroom but it is also truly a piece of art! I’m posting a reel on just this fantastic bathroom next week! ✨Garden of Eden: These unique structures were made by a pioneer in grassroots art. He built himself a mausoleum on the property and you can view him. ✨Find Waldo in Waldo, Kansas: Waldo is a very small town in Kansas, but if you’re driving through it’s fun to take a detour and find Waldo! ✨World’s Largest Things: This quirky museum features art and exhibits about World’s Largest items. ✨Wilson Lake, Kansas: Don’t miss Rock Town Trail or Switchgrass trails for rocky bluffs and beautiful views. SHARE this if you like discovering new and unusual places in Kansas. Would you go here? Do you like exploring quirky & unique places? . . . . #tothestars #exploreks #kansasadventures
