Virginia University-Lynchburg — Attraction in Lynchburg

DO NOT send your son's here for Football, or your child here period! The University has no library(crazy) nor lab for students. As far as football, they scouted as a play and ploy. Had us coming out of pocket for equipment that is provided by the team at other institutions. Bogus communication and lack of leadership. Many players had mishaps and had housing revoked, to complete learning virtually, but leaving them homeless. Coaches didn't want them to leave and go back home to remain for the "program" about had no where to house them. Some were living in cars, they camped them temporarily in a hotel, even tried to push some off on strangers citing a "church family" could house/adopt a player to live with them; no way! Newman had the boys in these conditions under the concept that they'd be "seen" and noticed so they wanted to push through and stay on the team. Keep VUL far away from scouting your kids and inform school administrators to keep them from...

Can't clearly understand what's going on with the football program. They recuted a 140 kids wish they rececvied monies for tuition. These kids travel to games on school buses to all of their away games. They had listed a full schedule but have played maybe only six or seven games. The head coach hasn't been on the sideline coaching in the past few games. Have not even come close to winning a game. So does VUL have the right coaches in place.. when the program first started they got more progress out of the program with coach Bailey and Luther Palmer.. I just hope that this program is not turning into a money making thing for who all have their hands...

Although VUL is a small HBCU school, it has a great historical background. This small non-profit college should get more public funds to expand more halls. I love the DHA program. After graduating from the DHA, I realize other regional public schools in Georgia and Louisiana will recognize VUL credentials. The professors at VUL are very lovely and intelligent. My educational journey isn't finished at DHA and DBA. I'm heading to the Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies. Good luck to all who stay with VUL...
