Brainard Spray Park — Attraction in Lyndhurst

I was there last week. I had an altercation with a dad. His daughter was telling kids when they could/couldn't go down the slide. I told her to let my child go through to not stop him. She said she was told the last time she was they're to direct the kids. I asked did she work there. An actual worker said no. So, I told the girl again to let mine slide. She went and told her dad that I yelled at her. He came storming at me. He had attitude and I gave him back attitude. I told him he don't get to come in my face yelling at me. I told him idk who he think he is. He said he believed his child. I told him Idc who he believed. The worker said that I didn't yell at his daughter. Before I left(didn't want to be in jail), I told another young worker what happened. I said they shouldn't be allowing little kids to direct the slides etc. That's what they get paid to do. I paid my money just as he did. The other worker agreed. She said she wasn't aware of the little girl being told that. The little girl appeared to be...

We were traveling home to Ohio from Niagra Falls and needed a stop around halfway to let the kids stretch their legs. This couldn't have worked out any better. The kids had a great time cooling off in the water, and there were a lot of cool slides and sprays to keep the kids interested. Once they had enough, we dried off and let them burn off the rest of their energy on the adjacent playground. I give you top marks for having the only REAL merry-go-round I know of in 2023.. my kids had a blast.

The only negative comment I would leave is that it feels a bit greedy to charge an adult admission for supervising their children. $7 for a child and free admission for 3 and under is more than reasonable, but as a group of 7, we paid more for 3 adults to sit and watch than for the 4 kids who were actually...

It is a very nice splash park, my autistic son enjoys this place a lot I’ve always had a nice experience especially with the younger girls at the desk. Today, there was an older woman who was very cocky, rude and just in general unpleasant. she over exaggerates how she has worked there “over 10 years”. given I have only been here a handful of times, her demeanor was just very nasty and unpleasant. Also the heavier set girl with dark hair monitoring the water slide was yelling at my autistic 4 year old. Ultimately these 2 unpleasant ladies really ruined our experience here...
