Beautiful wooded area with trails clearly marked & paper maps available at either entrance. However, be prepared to climb on rocky/gravel up a couple of steep hills to actually get to the elevation of the towers...however you have a beautiful pond & side trails you can take up/down instead of staying on the main dirt & rocky road - be careful of larger immovable rocks & tree roots on smaller trails though. This area is popular with mountain bikers because of the rugged terrain and trails. Steel Tower is about 2000' WSW and there is a trail from one tower to the other. Steel tower has had the bottom most set of stairs removed. Steel tower is "accessible" to those who wish to climb it ..at their own risk....
