It's just a rest, stop along the 8.2 mile loop road. Just basically an interesting rock formation with smoke stains from when Indians, soldiers or pirates through the centuries past stopped to camp and cook under a shelter ledge. Take your own bicycle, it's worth the $15 ferry fee to have wheels when you need them. Bike Rentals are expensive and only make sense if you are just on the island for a couple hours.
