Groveport Aquatic Center — Attraction in Madison Township

I'm terribly disappointed in the pool and facilities! We have been season pass holders in previous years and decided against it this year. The potential of the facility structure itself is nice...the cleanliness is totally something different. The pool has been closed early a couple of times due to contamination. The pool was re-opened 30 mins later....how do you remove human waste and all of it's fluids within that timeframe? They probably need to change their maximum capacity rules because it is always overly crowded. We've went to the pool within the first 10 minutes of it opening and all of the chairs were occupied already. The bathroom cleanliness and odor is disgusting. I did not see one adult present who was managing the facility other than teenage lifeguards. In addition, the snack stand is closed. Not sure why it's closed, because someone could make a lot of money providing snacking options. To top it all off, it's $3.00, more expensive than some of the other...

My kids LOVE it here. Try and come earlier on weekdays because as you can see this was a weekend and it was so crowded. I had people sitting on my husband's wallet on our chairs that we had saved which was extremely rude! I asked the girl if it was her stuff she was sitting on. Of course she says no. So I told her nicely to get off of our stuff before she ruins it with her wet clothes on! I mean common have some common sense. And when it was adult swim time the parents dont watch their children either. The people including parents dont like to listen to the life guards.I never had problems like that here and hopefully it doesnt happen again next time I come if I decide to come. It's more expensive than I thought it would be so I may just keep going to the pickerington pool which have lower prices and people who are not rude and actually listen to the...

My sister went to take my niece and nephew there today for my nephews birthday and they were not allowed to go in because her kids did not have her last name and she didn’t have custody paperwork with her and they wanted to know why her kids had two different last names. There’s a lot of single mothers out here that have kids who do not have their last name because children take their father’s last name. And on top of that why would a mom carry custody paperwork if there’s never been a custody agreement between the parents. they should know Ohio is a Mom state. My nephew was so devastated when they left he told his mom they should sue them because the lady at the front desk was very rude and hateful to them. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Way to crush a kids birthday groveport...
