Sherry who worked the bar is really what drove me to a 5 star. Without her I might've given a 3 star. When we first arrived I was using Cincy saver tickets and the lady at the ticket booth didn't know if it was for 1 or 2 people. She had to text someone for an answer and whoever that person was took over 10 minutes to respond which isn't a super long time but it is whenever you have a screaming 4 year old who's scared of the screaming automated gorilla that's repeatedly going off and you have stand to the side with 5 kids. Then the wrong tickets were printed off (Friday, Saturday, Sunday tickets were printed instead of Monday - Thursday tickets which seems like not a huge deal because weekend tickets are more expensive but security wasn't letting us throw until we got the correct tickets.) And it was pouring rain yesterday when we went and I just set our items underneath one of the umbrellas didn't use their table. Didn't use their chairs. I just didn't want our dry clothes and our dry towels to get soaking wet and one of the lifeguards came up and said you can't put your things here. Mind you, it's an absolute ghost town and we went in the veryyyyyyyy back by the splash zone for kids. There wasn't a single other living soul besides lifeguards that were anywhere near the back. But the lifeguard did not allow us to use the umbrella. Some of the other people that were there were using the umbrellas by the food area. So I thought that was really selfish of her. So at this point I've had something with every single worker I've ran into. So whenever it was time to go get some food and drinks I was dreading it. But Sherry was an absolute angel! She helped me so incredibly much with recommendations, letting me know exactly how big the portions are, telling me how many people she thought that they could feed so I didn't have to over buy food. She was so sweet and caring. I bought two souvenir cups for drinks. The man cooking the food was also so sweet and personable! The food was all fresh, hot, and delicious! We were using the food area and we had our towels and our paper cups, are souvenir cups, and the food that we were munching on. Somebody came through to clean up everything and they threw away all of our food items including our souvenir cups 😭 So I went back up to the counter and I asked if anybody maybe just turn them in because those cups were not cheap. And that sweet women replaced my cups for me! She really should be running the hospitality department.... If you have one. Because it was a few other employees that were standing up there who were basically telling me that nobody would throw them away like I just put them in my bag or something and wanted free cups. She was so sweet and understanding. The kids all had a really great time. The female life guard at the slide area was very sweet to my 4 year old niece as well. I go every year and even had passes a couple years back. Definitely recommend it and will definitely be back. Going on a rainy day is really the best day to go! It felt like there was only around 75 people there. It was like having the place all to yourselves! No lines. No waiting. Barely running into...
Read moreI’ve went the last couple years and it’s always been decent but this year we went and there was a lot of complaints. went into temple of terror and dr.psychos and we had ran into actors on their phones, we walked into a couple of rooms where they were just talking to each other, we got pushed through the haunt like cattle so we always caught up to people infront of us and people behind us always caught up and all of this happened in both of the attractions. Next we had the Klowns, we went through once had a great experience the best attraction of all night but the second time we had went through we had managers or who ever said they were walking through well we got to the end and we walked with the “managers” and they just started joking around with the actors everyone at the end had to through together some quick act to get us out of there to go back to joking around lmao. Next we have the trail, Overall wasn’t terrible but very lazy people at the beginning of the night and end of the night I can’t tell you how many people were just putting out some quick moan to make us move on to the next scene. Need to work with chainsaw guys more because I had one guy start swinging the chainsaw which is pretty cool but not when you get hit in the face with it which not that big of deal but there’s gonna be kids walking through and it just really shouldn’t happen with anyone. Next was Phobia overall another pretty decent attraction don’t really have much to say other than there was a few actors we caught off guard but fixed it later in with a couple of pop outs at us. Finally we have “Lights out” Definitely worst one of them all, it’s kinda funny how it’s pretty much a copy and paste of our attraction the “Fun House” this one just wasn’t as intense as ours but what i can do is give ya some tips lol, need more actors ,better dialogue more than just walking past us and looking at us, and its just plain. But after all i bet it was pretty decent when the review team walked through everything how it always goes here but if it’s random customers it’s a half ass effort scare unless it’s review teams which is sad, you should treat every group as a review team how it should be, also don’t know if you guys know it but even if you can’t scare everyone try to make them laugh instead of just turning around and walking away from the group my opinion on everything i’m sure someone there’s gonna get mad because i was point blank honest about the place this year but it had to be done by someone and not false advertising from the haunt lol....
Read moreFrom the get go, no one was kind, pleasant or even helpful. When we first got there we had already purchased tickets and signed waivers but they had lost them so we had to do them again! Then as we got in we had asked where places were to check in, get life vest etc. but somehow the staff was appalled that we would even ask such a question and were greeted with eye rolls and comments such as “over there” although this was annoying for us we powered through excited for the fun! Only to be turned away at the front desk with a woman saying “you should know that” over asking how to check into our very expensive pavilion. Yes this is really what happened and I genuinely couldn’t believe what was said. Skipping through a few more mishaps such as my brother in law trying to calm down a screaming newborn baby and an employee demanding to see his receipt even though he’s not the one who purchased it and telling him he would need to leave or show proof. I had gone down the slide and hit my head twice was clearly in pain and was told I needed to move now. I said yes of course just give me a minute. The lifeguard said “god can you just move she’s just doing her job” referring to what the other lifeguard saying move. I then went to speak to management trying to find some middle ground but all management could do was say “I’ll talk to them, but I can’t blame them for not seeing you be injured” it’s their job to see it! Like what do you mean! I then witnessed several kid getting injured and not once did a lifeguard say or do a thing! The only reason I’m giving this crappy place one star is because the kids could jump off high places and do the obstacle course. But truthfully if you are looking for a at least semi nice/ competent staff don’t come here. Seriously settle for anything else. Don’t spend the extra 20 dollars on the extra stuff either. Half of what’s in their website isn’t even there. I’m extremely disappointed and truthfully am upset we spent so much money here for this place to...
