Land of Illusion Haunted Nights — Local services in Madison Township

Went 10/15/22, I went for the first time in like 2017/18 and it was amazing. Took a break for awhile to try other haunts and was so excited to come back. I got fast passes for FIVE people. Worth it to avoid the wait but not worth it because what happened to this place? It’s like they don’t put any of the money back into the haunt anymore. Hardly any actors with little to no makeup special effects (but they really did their best). Props were sub-par. Almost none of the animatronics even had clothes or a cover so it was just chunks of wires and metal swinging jerking around. 50% of the walkthroughs were just glancing at poorly painted walls through strobe lights. We did all six too. The haunted trail was the best. Won’t be coming back until the park is under new management that’s actually willing to put some of the hundreds of thousands of dollars this park makes back into the park instead of what felt like has currently been selling ten props from each house every year to...

Overall cool concept but Marijuana smoke is heavy in the air. They check for weapons and mase, yet they allow Marijuana, vapes and cigarettes to hang heavier than the over use of fog machines in the attraction. The picture staff in the souvenir shop should take a class in customer service, or leave the service industry because they are rude, short and unhelpful. Out of 6 attractions only 3 are worth the visit 1. Haunted trail, Phobia and the clowns. Everything else is just like a suburban neighborhood haunted put on by your neighbor Gary that works in IT.

Overall not worth the money, time or expense ill have to pay to wash my clothes 3 times to get the pungent smell out of them. Tried this place twice but will not return. Much better haunted...

If I could give it negative stars I would. I paid $270 for 4 people. We went through one and waited in line for hours for the other ones and eventually tapped out. They were over serving people alcohol. People were vomiting left and right. I even heard one woman say “I shouldn’t have drank that much” people were lighting cigarettes in line (indoors) staff did absolutely nothing about it. And one of the scream park actors made a very racist and offensive comment to an African American member in our group. It was 100% a waste of money and time.
