Ice Age Trail Junction Area — Attraction in Madison

As a new Wisconsin resident I am always looking for new places to run after work without driving far away. At the moment (July 2017) this parking lot and entrance are under construction (part of the grass trail is marked closed), but you can still get there easily. Gorgeous prairies to run through, awfully buggy as is the norm for sunset here I guess, but so much better than running through neighborhoods. Very beautiful park in the Dane County Park system. Rolling hills festooned with a panoply of colors, and a fresh scent of wildflower perfumes fill the air at every fresh breath.
