Chang Jiang — Restaurant in Madison

Ordered for lunch today with a friend from work and had it delivered. They agreed to deliver to us even though we were slightly outside of their normal delivery area which was great, but I kinda wish they hadn't. First the price was $5 more than online when I tried to order (Delivery fee? Seems high if so) Then, the food.. was just not good. I ate maybe three bites of my mei fun. Very bland and had said looking discolored veggies. They only sent two packets of soy sauce so I couldnt even load it up with that to try to make it edible. Waste of money. Threw it in the garbage. Egg rolls were ok. Very thick breading. Used the soy sauce on those and they were fine. Not great, but fine. No fortune cookies =( No free eggroll that they promised online. The almond cookies were rock hard, no flavor really. Andy my co workers dumplings were the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I dont know what was inside but it wasnt pretty looking. I read the reviews before going here and was hesitant. One of the reviews said it was terrible customer service But you know how it is when your hungry...I called up and the dude answered and seemed very rushed "yeah hello, what you want?"..in a heavy accent. I was surprised because it seemed rude at first lol. Told him my order. He did seem like he was in a rush. Now, I have to say that this was one of the better Chinese places I've been. The Crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had, crispy with the perfect cheese to crust ratio. We ordered General Tsao and chicken broccoli they were also amazing. I honestly get a kick out of the guy answering the phone, I laugh to myself because its so unheard of. First time ordering from this restaurant, will be my last. Order included Hot & Sour Soup (was very good but not spicy hot). @ egg rolls they were OK tasting but slightly greasy, Crab Rangoon lacking in crab taste, Combo Plates C16 General Toso's Chicken, Listed as spicy this dish had no spices, came with pork fried rice has maybe 2 tiny pieces of pork no veggies and absolutely no flavor, second combo plate was C19 Chicken w. Hot Garlic Sause ordered extra spicy, this too lacked any spice and the rice very bland and only have a few pieces of pork. When I order extra spicy that is what I expect to get, not food that has no spice. My son tried the General Tso's chicken and asked where this spicy was his comment was that is not General Tso's chicken. I will not recommend this restaurant unless you enjoy dishes that lack...
