There’s a lot of ascent and some decent (but rocky) downhill. If you like more flowy smoother trails with more berms and jumps I would highly recommend driving the 5 minutes to hopewell memorial park which has much better trails (and a dirt jump and pump track area) in my opinion. But if you like technical trails with a lot of sharp and shaley rocks then this is a good place for you ( I’d recommend biking up to Squirrel (which is a black diamond downhill trail) it was my favorite trail at Geisinger, tho to be fair I didn’t ride...
Read moreAmazing hiking place with a quaint name Geisinger stewardship forest pretty close to an urban center. Was there on a Thursday morning 630am and had the trail mostly to myself. Well marked trails. I wish they had distances marked too. Maybe not - leaving it is also a good thing. Did a moderate (Life Flight) and a challenging trail (Adrenaline). Trail names cute. The main trails are easy enough with some roots and rocks, but there are some Black diamond trails for experienced bikers. I've been riding and hiking here since 1996 and it had been around for a while back then. Some of the older trails have been rerouted to make them more eco friendly. Great place to enjoy...
