Geisinger should be totally embarrassed with this restaurant! They have signs all over indicating great health care, but serve food that is so unhealthy and poorly prepared. The salad bar, which is the healthiest option, is filthy and poorly stocked.
Three nights in a row they served noodles with big chunks of butter melting into them. They also served terrible tasting macaroni and cheese. The majority of the people who work there are deeply unpleasant. Completely rude and dismissive. I was consistently met with derision when I asked questions or requested a bag or drink holder.
I do not believe in "service with a smile" but I do believe in "service without active malice."
It is a hospital cafeteria. We can assume most patrons are there for a not-so-fun reasons. The rudeness of the staff is truly bizarre to me.
Dining room is pleasant and large. Only staff can sit outside because the door requires a badge to reenter the cafeteria.

When you ask for a slice, they don't bother to reheat it for you. They just take a slice of from the pie that has been sitting there for who knows how long and give it to you.
