This park is quiet and secluded, tucked at the end of the street. So you don't have to worry about kids running to a busy street. There are plenty of trees for picnics under the shade. The playground structures are older. So the swings are higher and have play structures that are nostalgic but might make young parents nervous when their kids are playing on them. There is no public bathrooms here so it was good I had a portable potty with me when we visited.
I was told that there are plans to renovate this park so it's a bit neglected i.e. weeds growing all over the place, play structures could use a fresh paint and power washed.
