So Sad! We were here two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the boardwalk out to the lookout point to Mono Lake. After hearing about the fire, we had to stop and see the damage. They have the boardwalk completely shut down pending repair, but the facility still has great grass, picnic tables and shade to enjoy.

"THIS IS A MUST TO SEE"he tufa towers are made from salt over many many years! You can walk on the boardwalk and see many of them they look like petrified mushrooms.And take cool pics almost next to them.OFF OF THE 395 HIWAY MONO LAKE

Great park. Well manicured, clean tables in the shade, very clean and supplied restrooms lots of parking. And an extremely beautiful boardwalk area to the waters edge.
