Splendid lake and mountain view payoff, for a bit of effort climbing steep initial section. We started and ended at the ball field parking lot, which has outhouses. Cross the North Shore road, the trail starts as a road a bit further up. Road peters out to the left, so stay right, you’ll encounter trail signs soon. We’re old and slow, took us under two hours to reach gorgeous Snow Lakes and return, about 3 miles total, 600 feet total climb.

Great little single track trail that is just under 3 miles. It’s a point to point, but can easily be made into a loop if you don’t mind walking 1/4 mile on the dirt along the road. Saw lots of small animals, birds and deer, and a few lakes on the way. The beginning and end are steep and the whole top is relatively flat

Cute little trail. Lower part gets hot - go early if summer. People complain about the summit but it is easy. Follow trail till you see an arrow, go there, turn right, and then up through the obvious rock tunnel. It is about 30 feet if unexposed scramble. Great views!
