The parking is across the street at Ocean Inlet Park. The pier sticks out into the ocean making it a great place to fish. But there is also a great beach going north from the pier. This is a nice beach with no lifeguards. Lots of people go to the first couple of hundred feet of this beach. After that it just has a few people walking for the next mile or more. It’s nice to have a beach without too many people. Everyone is in good shape since it’s a bit of a walk to get to this beach. There aren't any facilities there but you can always walk back to Ocean Inlet Park. There seem to be park police there often. Both walking the pier and riding ATVs up the beach.
