Bull Run Marina — Attraction in Manassas Park

Terrible experience here. Used the fish brain app and saw it would be a nice place to take my 4 year old fishing. The gate was open when we arrived. Looked like a nice little spot to teach him the ins and outs. Didn’t get a bite at all AND to make matters worse, we got locked in the gate. You cannot get out without a key. We ended up waiting about an hour before someone Kayaking came and unlocked the gate. This place is definitely not good for fishing, mostly for kayaking or hiking and again you’d Best Buy a key if you’re thinking about coming. I’d advise go elsewhere. Much nicer parks that are actually open...

It's a great place to launch boats, kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards. There is also a good hiking trail. The parking lot across the street is free and where you have to park if you are hiking or do not have a key for the marina gate.
