A really nice outing for a family leading up to Christmas. You drive through the park (you are encouraged to turn off your headlights and use park lights ) at about 10 mph and get to see a lot of fun light displays. Animals, winter themes, even the Wizard of Oz makes an appearance! The light drive takes about 10 -15 minutes but it's very pretty! And the kids really liked it.
At the end you can park, and go to the festival. Typical in that prices for rides are very expensive. An unlimited wristband is 27, which seemed the better deal than buying a bunch of tickets. We had a 4 and 7 year old. The 7 year old could go on ALL the rides which he loved And there were still plenty for the 4 year old. They have a nice bon fire to keep warm and sell hot chocolate and s'mores you can roast. Bundle up though, it gets REALLY cold at night.
My only main complaint is that the food has gotten more expensive for smaller sizes. You used to get a big bag of popcorn, and now it's a small cup for 7 dollars for example. Sign of the times I guess! Staff were all friendly that we came into contact with.
And make sure you don't miss the petting zoo in the tent - goats and even a camel! Great...
Read moreThe park advertised pets are allowed! My dog is dying and we have A bucket list for him! We took him to the petting zoo and the minute he saw a camel he started to bark! My dog is a beagle! He literally bark 2 times and out of nowhere this big man came to us pointing fingers at us screaming ( YOU GET OUT NOW!!!!!! ) he went on and on with an ugly actitud! It was very scary and unprofessional way to talk to a paying client! I would never ever go back! He forgot that this park allowed dogs but he is not happy if dogs act like dogs?? At the end it all felt like the fact that he is a white man and we’re brown people he feels superior and thought it was ok to talk to us like that! The worse part is that I had my kid watching everything!! He finally flicked us off as my kid was watching this!! This man totally discriminated and disrespected us he felt powerful cuz he is the owner! I wish he was proper and explained his issue with the barking in a calm way and I will totally understand! But he needs to learn how to behave! How dare him!! I don’t recommend this place at least the...
Read moreThe photos do not say a thing about what you will see. I didn't want to ruin it because it is by far the best most filled Drive-Tru lights show I have been too. It is well managed with plenty of booth to pay or check in tickets however you will still have a bit of a backup in the beginning until you get through. Once through it is two lanes the whole time and you can go 10 mph to really enjoy every aspect of the show. You will not want to go faster because every side has something exciting. It is perfect for every age to enjoy. At the end of the drive you are met with a carnival like atmosphere that has, camel rides, 3 fire pits with seats around and a stand to buy s'mores kits and marshmallows. They have scenes to take pictures, rides like the fair to ride, games to play, and food vendors where you can get a big ol bucket of fries or caramel apple or just pizza. It is really a wonderful holiday event the whole family can enjoy and you don't need to get out of the car if you don't want too....
