Great, small local hike perfect for when you're pressed for time but still want a decent climb. It's an incline pretty much the whole way except for the last 0.1-0.2 mi when it flattens before the turnoff to the rock, which provides a decent view of Manchester.

There's a small waterfall near the beginning that is especially active at the start of spring. Other than that there aren't many features - the trail itself is a wide ATV/Jeep road.

One of the best features of this trail is that during even the hottest of days it remains relatively cool from the heavy tree cover. For the portion near the waterfall it's even cooler - a good thing to keep it mind when it's insanely hot but you still want to get in a...

A short and an amazing hike up a dirt road that you can probably drive up in a car if you have a good 4x4.

The hike is ~3miles but is fairly steep oneway, that could make it tiresome for kids or adults with pre existing conditions.

The view is amazing and also has a connection to Appalachian trail. There are nobdigns to find the spot. Instructions and signs are required and therefore I took a star off. The signs are there but after you pass the trail indicating...

Got there on a Wednesday morning, there were no signs for parking or for the trail entrance. There were no signs to follow during the trail, on a hunch we walked up the street and found the trail. It was an immediate incline, make sure to make a left when the trail splits. 50-60 minutes to the scenic outlook, it will be on your right but there is no sign so you have to be looking for it. I would say this trail is moderate to hard and very rocky but the view...

Lots of people said this hike was hard and short. Didn't find it hard but also didn't find it short. Took about a little under 3 hours to do if you're hiking at a leisurely pace and want to stop for photos at the overlook. The trail is at an incline and rocky so wear appropriate shoes. The nature at this location is really nice especially in the fall. I liked the little waterfalls and streams as you go up. Overall this is an in and out trail worth doing.

Vermont is incredible in Autumn season. The trail had so much color the only minor problem I ran into was the Heavy mud on the trail from the rain of that morning. Got lost a few times searching for the lookout only to find a sign on a tree eventually and phone never lost reception 👍 Other than that, it was great .Photo taken with 12 pro max portrait mode -0.3 exposure using Xenvo Lens attachment w/VSCO filter edit

The trail is a nice intermediate hike that takes 2-3 hours to complete. Finding the trail requires a map as there is no signage along the roads to guide you to the trailhead. Parking at the trailhead is limited to 6-8 cars. The trail is easy to follow, but the branch to prospect rock is not well marked. It's about 50 feet off the right side of the trail. The view is great.
