The area along the Manitowoc River has the sign "Lower Henry Schutte Park". There is a canoe/kayak launch pier, along with a nice set of exercise machines. Part of the Ice Age Trail follows the river, through some nice woods. A nice place for a peaceful hike. When I was a kid this area was a clay mine. If you are a birder, you will have fun.
