Barnyard Kingdom — Attraction in Manor Township

We were disappointed this year! After having a good experience last year, we came here again to take the wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch and pick our own pumpkins. The wagon ride is two bucks, then you pay per pound for your pumpkin (.59 a pound, which is a little pricey). We got out to the “patch” and the pumpkins were just laying on the ground like someone had just spread a bunch out from a bin. no vines in site. And most of them were rotten. We had a very hard time finding three for my kids, and we ended up leaving the ones we found at the barn and not buying them. Not sure if all the rain caused a bad crop, but it was a completely different experience than last year . We have never tried all the other stuff, it’s $25 per kid but everything looks a little sad. It’s a really low budget version of corn cob acres… pretty much same entrance fee too. Save your money and go to one of the other 2 local fall fun kids attractions. Expensive for how small it is in comparison. Lots of things definitely needed upgrades/repairs. The tractor tire swings need inspected badly. The bolt holding the one up is definitely loose and the beam it’s in is splitting badly. Train is sketchy at best. The chicken coop was gross(I have chickens myself and it was just plain horrible in there). Entrance to the attraction looks like you are going into a scrap yard and def not well kept or maintained. Lots of random pieces and parts to what looks like was going to be an attraction and just left to rot scattered all over and surrounding whole place. Not the worst experience however not good enough to want to go back . when my son was going on the big slide somehow a big burn appeared on his arm , he said it was from the slide ,which is why he was scared to go down again, went to first aid , she provided a napkin from her pocket and wetted it with condensation from the outside of her cup, wet the napkin to try and Use that for cleaning his wound until I said hell no ! Overall I would pay half of what I did for the experience went mid October , I’m not sure what caused his burn however I’m sure it’s not an isolated issue or maybe it is the way the first aid was handled .
