This was my first time visiting Hawaiian Falls at the Mansfield location everything started off good but ended horribly!!! I bought my tickets online, it made the entry seamless10 out of 10 highly recommend. I got the $39 X3 package that included entry and unlimited drinks and 1 meal. When we got hungry there was 4 people ahead of me in line to get drinks and or food but there was only two windows open one to order the other was pick up(they actually only worked the one window…EX you order and they make you wait at the same window and give you yours food)….after waiting 15 minutes and being thirsty I walked to the to the pick up window and asked if I could get my drink while waiting in line (mine you this is Texas heat peck season)the young lady was awesome and gave us our drinks!!!! We then waited another 20 minutes to order and when I got to the window I informed the young lady this was our first time here and wanted to know our options and what came with it. She said chicken pizza or a burger I then asked what sides if any came with it and she rolled her eyes and I noticed and stated once again THIS IS MY FIRST TIME HERE… she told me the options and I gave her my order. I pull up my email and she said go to guest service and have them print it off because the barcode was to small! At this point I’m vexed to the max I explain I have already been in line for over 30 minutes and could expand the barcode because that was a ridiculous solution she suggested She tried scanning it a couple of times and then through the scanner on the counter and stated “ at this point what do y’all want because it’s not working? I’m standing there with my two little girls and after our interaction they were puzzled and confused on why we were treated in this manner!! I ordered my babies pizza and myself a cheese burger and it was bread meat and cheese only I asked if they had lettuce tomato and onion and she rolled her eyes again and said next customer!!! I’m so happy I’m saved because the Lord was in my ear worst customer...
Read moreFirst, the place has a nice layout, kids had fun. We got a cabana birthday for the day, package included cabana, tickets, pizza, drink cups and ice cream. The reason for the 2 star is the service level. First, as a business consultant, this place would rank poorly for NPS. Here’s why: when I first arrived, the staff did not know how to handle my paid receipt. Took three people to figure it out. Second, there was no staff to greet us, I had to ask where to go. Third we got to the cabana, and no one showed up. I had to walk back to the office to find a manager to ask what the process is for the party. Fourth, there were call boxes on other cabanas, we were told ours was knocked out in a storm (it’s been over a month since we have had any). They did assign an attendant on a 20 minute check in. She was trying but I could tell there was no much support behind her. Sixth, they put in our food order for the pizza. None came out. Server said we don’t have pizzas now. Went to manager, said backed up. Said ordering burgers would be faster. So we did. Fortunately would not add to the bill. Basically, the service and value are not commensurate with cost. Any business that sells high ticket packages and can’t deliver shouldn’t sell them. It will cost more to the owner and eat profits. People won’t come back and pay the price. What I think should happen is having trained staff and part of a separate cabana team based on type of package. Briefing on each group, birthday, etc. once arrived, greet the party and escort to the cabana. Explain how the process works confirming what they purchased. Explain how to call, how to do everything like they never have been there. This will go a long way..think of using a VIP method. Don’t let this get away. For anyone that wants to book, make sure you call first and get the explanation of what happens. I called and left a message and never got called back on Friday. To the owner: probably rate a 50 out of 100 on my scale of built to sell strategy....
Read moreHawaiian Falls Mansfield is located off 360 near Heritage Pkwy, offering the community a fun filled place for families to cool off in Texas summers from the beginning of May until September.
We went ahead and got the pineapple passes, which include unlimited visits through the season, as well as bringing in a guest free each visit. The pass also included free unlimited soft drinks with each visit as well. We upgraded and got the cooler pass, which allows you to bring in a cooler or ice chest each visit where you can bring drinks and snacks that don't contain alcohol. The parking lot has ample spaces to park, and parking is always free.
The park hours vary by the day of the week and month. The best bet is to go online and check out the park schedule for a more accurate listing. There are many slides and fun activities for the kids to do. The park is designed for small children, and all the slides end in a shallow end of water that is still intact with the slide. They have a lazy river and a wave pool that are all waist deep as well as 2 small kids play areas with small slides and water activities. There are many lifeguards present who do a great job in making sure everyone remains safe in a fun filled environment since safety should be everyone's concern. There are a couple of food vendors on site, and they have picnic grounds to sit back and relax while enjoying a day in the sun. The floats are always free to use, and there is an abundance of lawn chairs to sit back and recline to soak it all in.
There are 2 more locations in Roanoke and Waco, and both are built similar but have different attractions. There are always specials and events going on, such as the 4th of July firework show and discounts throughout the week with certain promotions. This is the perfect family getaway with families who have small kids and are looking for a safe place to swim and beat the...
