Mansfield Art Center — Attraction in Mansfield

Just completed the class for “glass blowing “ a flower. I’ve wanted to learn this for all my years! Very nice facility! I’m a little disappointed because the instructor was very indifferent! I saw some beautiful strawberries sitting on the table that have been made from glass. I asked her “is the strawberries hard to make?” Her reply was “they probably would be for you guys, but they only take me five minutes.” I was very excited to learn all about the process, and a smidge disappointed to learn, almost nothing. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Everyone on the staff there is kind, genuine, and hardworking. You can tell they truly love what they do and have a passion for art. They put their heart and soul into every exhibition, event , and class. The building is beautiful. Our experience at the Art Center was not good. We planned to view the Regional High School show during spring break with our teenagers. The show runs until April 24 according to the advertised schedule. We arrived early in the afternoon of April 19 and what do you know? They decided to take the show down early. Not much respect for the Regional High School artists and a real disappointment for the kids who wanted to see the talents of their peers on display.
