This is a nice, clean dog park with heated men's and women's bathrooms, lighting, and water fountains.

The parking lot is really close to the dog park, so in the winter, I do not have to walk far.

The city plows the parking lot and sidewalks.

The dog park is fully fenced in yet it has a lot of hills and trees to make it feel as if you are free to run around.

People bring well-socialized dogs.

I have only had a few problems, but I am really good at both preventing problems or quickly settling the dogs down.

As per park rules, each dog park pass is limited to 2 dogs.

The park pass is about $48 for 1 year, good from January 1 to December 31.

The only problem I have had with a fellow dog park patron was an older gentleman with a female black lab. One night in winter when it was dark at 5 PM, I had asked every dog owner if he/she would allow me to give a treat to their dogs. Everyone said "yes". Due to the dark, I did not see that there were TWO black labs, not one. The female owner with the male black lab gave me permission. The male owner with the female black lab was so upset that he used all sorts of swear words towards me and my dogs.

When I asked him why he was so upset, he started rambling about other owners who were not picking up their dog's feces, etc.

When I looked closely at him, I realized that he was hugging a long-neck Budweiser bottle to his chest and taking liberal swigs from it!

I could not believe that he was drinking at 5 PM on a Wednesday at a dog park.

The saddest thing was not the fact that he was drinking or hurling abusive words at me. The saddest thing is that there were 5 other people in hearing distance who...

This is the place your dog is always barking about. You probably don't speak dog though so it just sounds like "woof! Woof wufwuf!" or something of the like. Most people here are pretty great. No actual issues have come up. Yet to deal with any aggressive animals. All around a great place to hang out for an afternoon. There's a water fountain AT DOG LEVEL. Unsure why but I love this little detail. The place is HUGE. Let the dog off the leash and it's time to mellow while the furry dude gets some solid exercise and much vexed socialization. Fun fact. You're supposed to pay 15 bucks or something to use the dog park. I did this. Printed out my proof for entrance and uh... not a soul asked any it. No gate keeper. No one to verify my awesome citizenship. Turns out - I basically threw out that money. No worries though, had...

Watch out for weekends (tends to be overcrowded) but other than that it's worth the money since the park gets cleaned up regularly. Right now they're cutting down dead trees, for example. They groom the park quite well overall. This park is fully fenced with a 4 foot wire fence and an entrance gate area. They also have bathrooms with running water and heaters for the winter. Near the bathrooms there's a drinking fountain with multiple spouts for human and doggy drinking, as well as one for filling bowls or jugs. Poop bags are provided at the entrance. This park is so loved by the locals that we often see our dogs friends on a regular basis. Only downside for us is the overcrowding during peak times, especially during the pandemic. So we go early in...

Need some free time for yourself and/or read a book while watching your best buddy 🐕🐕happy and have great time!? Come and check this doggie park! Few days ago decided to come and check it out while staying down the road with my boys 🐕🐕 I was surprised and excited at the same time, mostly for my boys. Not a local resident, but don’t mind the drive to make my boys happy and give them some freedom to do whatever they want and make some friends at the same time. And I have some time to socialize myself! Win win! I must say! Bring your boys or girls! 🐕🐕 let them have some fun!! 🐶❤️🐶❤️

Super nice park! Lots of open space and not too heavy underbrush. The fence is not super obvious against the wooded space beyond it, so if you have a dog that doesn't pay attention, watch out for that. The fence is sturdy and all the way around though! My greyhounds loved it's mix of open, well laid paths and wooded trails for sniffing, critter tracking, and playing some high speed games of chase. Everyone we ran into was super nice and their dogs were delightful.
