I researched over 70 event centers from Sandy to Mapleton (made a spreadsheet and everything). We needed an indoor outdoor space and room for 250-300 guests within a reasonable price range for the time needed and the elements of the event center. We started our search at the end of April (some event centers were already booked for our date/s, especially the ones at the lower end of price ranges for event centers in this area.) We chose Northridge Valley Event Center for my daughter's wedding reception. It was beautiful and served all our needs. The gorgeous view of the mountains and well maintained front and back yards with lots of elements of interest made it easy for guests to enjoy time together both outside and inside. The Brides room and Grooms room were hits too and spacious to have everyone there to regroup for a bit. The balconies are lovely and gave a birds eye view of the outdoor festivities. Jessica and Lily did an amazing job with coordinating and decorating services. They patiently worked with us to have all the elements of the reception we wanted. Jessica tries to get to know the bride and groom and the families a bit to coordinate elements into the venue based on their personalities and what they like. We wanted a beautiful, simple, fun and playful vibe and were able to accomplish that. The venue has 4 AC units, but because we had the doors open and it was 100 degrees outside, it was hard to keep the main indoor spaces cool until the sun went down. We passed out hand held fans to help with those who tend to get toasty easily. There is a light breeze that picks up as the sun sets, which we were grateful to have. We found the space in front of the fireplace to be sufficient enough for indoor dancing and other fun presentations or activities. We struggled a bit with the sound for a microphone. There was a portable speaker for the microphone and built in overhead speakers for music. The speeches were hard to hear. We had a lot of guests so their general volume was too much to talk over and I think most speakers needed to talk very close into the mic to be heard. There were no issues with the volume for dancing;) Most of our guests were coming from Provo/Orem, Salt Lake, or Ogden area so for some of them the drive and timing/traffic was something to be taken into consideration. We found the location worth the little extra time it takes to get there. We came from out of state and stayed in Orem and found it to be a simple straightforward drive (about 35 mins for us around 4pm on a Friday). This is a place where you can have someone do the whole thing for you or work with you for the different elements you want to do your self or hire outside sources. They provided many options for how we wanted to do our wedding. Many guests commented about how beautiful the event center is and of course about the lovely couple:) My daughter came site unseen. She said it was a perfect day and she loved it completely!

We used Northridge for our wedding this September and I cannot recommend them enough!! They were amazing from start to finish. We were able to go back to the venue as many times as needed to go through planning and ideas. They have an option for them to do the decorating for you which took a HUGE stress off my shoulders, you can also take your decor there the week of the wedding to make the day less stressful. The owner Jessica is phenomenal I could not have asked for a better host! And her second hand Cori was also amazing on the day of. Also another thing I loved, the brides room is on the second floor so there is no chance of the groom seeing the bride beforehand which was awesome! This place is gorgeous inside and out and is right next to hobble creek canyon. Truly worth every penny and wouldn’t have chosen anywhere else! These are just a few photos I have, I’d post more if I had them back from my photographer to show how beautiful everything was!!

We got married on 9/1 at northridge and it was the best day. Jessica is the sweetest person and just so caring. You can tell she is so passionate about helping couples dream days a reality. The venue is absolutely stunning and has so many decor and set up options. Jessica and Cori are so open to new ideas and will do everything in their power to make anything happen. The brides room is so much fun with the light up mirrors and the beautiful balcony views. My husband loved how roomy the grooms room was and enjoyed having his own space to relax before the ceremony. We had our own wedding planners but Jessica and cori were at the venue the day of the wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were both so supportive and loving. We were definitely so lucky to have met them! We love you guys!
