I know rating a public park. Dumb right! But I had a weird visit here yesterday. First of all someone yelled out do you believe in gods love. My first response was yes . . . I donโ€™t know what I was expecting but a few minutes later I was being told that my faith and love wasnโ€™t powerful enough because the devil had faith too. Yes my fault I initiated the conversation! Then my 12 year old had the park ranger called on her because supposedly someone asked her and her friends to move from the covered picnic tables and they refused. WHAT? Well actually yes a guy was giving the kids a dirty look but never asked them to move because I was watching him. It was the hottest day we have had this year it felt like 90 in the sun. The Ramada could hold like 50 people. A very small birthday party rented the whole thing. So me and the dogs had to wait in the car because all the covered shade was taken. First of all why arenโ€™t you adult enough to let someone know you reserved the Ramada. Second of all you reserved the whole thing for a small kids party, rude. New Residents in this community are driving out the...

The park is amazing with a lot of options for the kids from batting cages to football and soccer fields baseball fields along with a Lake for the kids to fish in (and adults as well LOL) there is a skateboard park and a few different kids playgrounds along with a tennis court basketball court and a course for the Mud Run each summer. There is also an assortment of festivals that range from the salsa Festival 2 the fireworks Fourth of July also in the winter they have snow 4 snowball fights sledding making snowman for kids who have never seen snow to experience it's pretty amazing. Now these are all the outside activities. Inside the main building is a very large gym that anyone in town to get memberships to there are classrooms and office set up for school and business meetings there is a gymnasium for basketball and other games to be played along with a water park that has a water slide a lazy river a lap pool, and a regular swimming pool with lifeguards on duty for everyone's protection. Did you hear: tours are back at Shamrock Farms!๐Ÿ„ Take a 60 min tram ride around the farm to learn about modern milking - and see 200 cows milked at one time! Itโ€™s truly a fascinating process of how milk made right in Arizona gets to stores in just 2 days. Also included in the tour is a stop at the farm themed playground, and (for a small add on), ice cream treats to wrap up the day. Donโ€™t miss the gift shop too! You can also just visit for the gift shop, treats, and mini museum. ๐Ÿ„ We first did the tour in 2017, and it was just as fun then as it was in 2022. The tour guide was fun, great with the kids, and always happy to answer questions. Highly recommend this fun day trip for all ages to @shamrockfarmsmilk . ๐Ÿ„ After the tour, stop by the Dwarf Car Museum, about 15 min west of the farm, or play at Copper Sky Park in Maricopa. (And pssst, yummy pastries and amazing coffee is at Honeycutt Coffee Cafe for the ride home.)๐Ÿ„ ๐Ÿ“ 40034 W Clayton Rd, Stanfield, AZ 85172 โฑtours only on select days, see website for details, advanced tickets required ๐Ÿ’ป https://www.shamrockfarms.net ๐Ÿ’ฒ$12/adult, $10/child (under 2 free); $1.50/person for ice cream treat

I visited Copper Sky Regional Park as my son played in a soccer tournament hosted here over two weekends in April 2024. While, for a Greater Phoenix-based team, it can easily be an "away game" (30-40+ minutes away), the field set-up seemed functional (they had multiple baseball games/tournament at the same time and there were no issues obvious issues with field confusion, no seating, etc.), and the fields were well maintained (and the grass was Arizona good for April) when we visited. However, finding a restroom when you're at some of the further (i.e., #7 & #8) soccer fields seemed to prove a hassle for many parents, and entering/exciting the parking lot (in-between game times) was a nightmare.

Great park. Best fireworks show in the valley year after year. Edit: Just attended another 4th of July at Copper Sky. The fireworks show was great. They planned well by having entertainment continue after the show so people didn't all leave in a rush. It was still busy but appeared to slow the road as many were still relaxing in the grass while people were leaving. Also, the FREE shuttle service is the BEST way to go. No need to fight traffic out of a crowded parking lot. I was home in about 20 minutes versus waiting in a line to leave a crowded parking lot for an hour.
