We stumbled across this trail when we realized that you needed reservations for Muir Woods. It turned out to be one of our favorite hikes of the San Francisco trip. As my daughter pointed out, the thick growth, moss, vines, wildflowers, and mushrooms created a "magical" look along much of the trail. And, for fun...if you look closely, you'll even find gnomes and fairies placed/hiding inconspicuously throughout. Definitely...

Nice trail that connects tennesse valley to the wider network of fire roads. It’s mostly double or single track and does have a few section with stairs. There can be lots of poison oak so beware! It’s...

We stumbled across this trail when we realized that you needed reservations for Muir Woods. It turned out to be one of our favorite hikes of the San Francisco trip.
