Distance from the beach is short, but climbing all the way to the top. But the view along the way and the view from the top was worth it. There were decent amounts of wild flowers blooming along the way as well. I’m not sure if you are supposed to go getting in there but inside the battery at the top is reachable and the view of the ocean through the gun ports was interesting perspective.

A great overlook point for Tennessee Valley and Beach. It does require climbing of a few flights of stirs but it is manageable and only a short 5 minute hike or less to reach.

Nice overlook - stunning vistas. The large rock on the beach looks tiny when you’re up here. Looking across to the other hill, you can make out the coastal trail.
