Sadly i made a trip here to snowboard with my daughter on a Sunday night, she is going to college at NMU, and she has a season pass. A quick Google search showed Marquette Mountain Resort open until 7:00pm. I drove 5 hours to arrive at 4:00, only to learn the hill closes at 5:00. I can accept this just be annoyed that I did not look more thoroughly into their hours, but what tired it offbwas the young lady at the ticket booth made me aware this isva common occurrence. Even after hearing this I was willing to get over it until I was also told they only offer full day ticket prices and if I wanted to put a hour in on the hill I would have to buy a full day lift ticket. The combination of it being clear they are aware this is confusing and have not corrected it on Google, and do not at least accommodate people for their trouble makes it very hard for me to want to come to this Hill again. Here is how to create multiple hours for a single day on Google hopefully someone who cares will read this. Set More hours on Google Search On your Android phone or tablet, sign in to the Google Account you use to manage your Business Profile.
To find your Business Profile, search on Google for your exact business name. You can also search for “my business.” To open your Business Profile, tap Edit profile and then Business information. Near the top, tap the Hours tab. Under “Add more hours,” choose the type of “More hours” you want to set, such as “Drive through.” If you have multiple types of “More hours,” you must set each type separately. For each type of “More hours,” select the days and set the hours that...
Read moreMarquette Mountain is great, but is a bit pricey compared to other resorts of comparable size. I’ve bought a season pass the past few seasons, and the lifties rarely scan passes or tickets, especially during the first couple of months of the season. No one enforces it. This is unfortunate, as I’ve encountered many recurring people on the lift who haven't paid for their lift tickets—it honestly feels like I'm getting ripped off for following the rules.
Recently, I had an injury on the mountain that ended my season early. I had a few interactions with staff about possibly transferring my pass to a friend. One staff member told me, “It’s a lot more likely you’ll be able to transfer your pass early in the season. You’d need to bring in the person you want to transfer it to.” Another told me, “Unfortunately, we can’t transfer your pass, but the manager was talking about compensating you with a discount on next year’s season pass.” Neither of these statements were accurate, and in the end, I left with nothing. Both staff members were very polite, but please educate your staff on the policies so people don’t waste a couple hours driving to the mountain. That being said, the AGM, Jennifer, was very kind and did a great job explaining the restrictions around transferring a season pass.
It’s unfortunate that I need to write this review since I’ve never written a review lol. I’ll still continue to ride Marquette Mountain, but there’s a lot of room for improvement. Also, the terrain park needs more...

Seems like management does not have a lot of respect for patrons. Shame, it's a good hill, wish I could still recommend it but after this treatment I will not.
OG review 1/27/23: I've skiied here for years growing up and I really like the mountain itself, but after being turned away from buying a lift ticket tonight for an arbitrary reason I'm really disappointed. I brought all my own gear from Houghton and just needed a lift ticket for an hour and a half of night skiing and they refused to print me one. They said the office closes at 7:00pm and I arrived at 7:20pm so skiing wasn't an option. I am a pass holder and PSIA member from Mont Ripley and was hoping to ski another mountain for the night, plus I would have happily paid the 40 dollars for an hour and a half in the fresh snow that was falling. I was really excited, I'd suggest they keep their office open as late as their mountain for working adults, date a stack of extra tickets to keep behind the bar/rental shop for people who want to make a couple runs at the night rate, or clearly state their office hours on their website so people who want to ski can plan around when they can actually purchase a ticket (for the already moving lifts)....
