Since Marquette is no that big, the trail head is only 5-10 minutes from anywhere in town. The gravel parking lot is big. There is an open shelter with enclosed changing rooms that has a small, beginner pump track running by it. A few basic tools are chained to a simple bike rack. There is a large map clearly showing all the trails with their distances and skill levels. Unfortunately, too many people feel the need to touch it where this trailhead sits so thre print has worn off, making it difficult to tell where your tail starts. Speaking of trails it is a little bit of a bummer that a number of them start across a 55mph curving road, which means you need to be very careful crossing.
