I'm a parent bringing my Freshman child here for the 1st time and as such, I'm only reviewing the grounds and my day 1 experience. This is a HBCU with huge sense of pride yet not overwhelming in size. I definitely appreciate that. I found it a little odd that they have a band but, no football team. The grounds are very clean, the atmosphere seems welcoming. There's a Wal-Mart nearby so, it's very convenient if not easy to fill out your dorm room in short order. There's also a PNC bank nearby, there's very few other options banking wise. The Staff all the way down to Security seemed very approachable and knowledgeable.
