Soul Palace — Restaurant in Marshall

Here visiting Caddo Lake, swung into this place on our way back from the train depot. Had the special of the day: chicken spaghetti, corn, green beans, toast, and salad. I've never had chicken spaghetti before, but I've ruined myself, because I know I'll never be able to make it like these folks made it. Sauce was creamy, perfectly seasoned, and there were large chunks of chicken. Sides were great too, especially the green beans, which were made with bacon as the Good Lord intended. The lady running the place is a sweetheart and she gave us good advice on things to see in town. Will definitely come back by when we roll...

This is a small but very busy soul food establishment! Delicious whole fried fish, coleslaw, fries, and hushpuppies. The tarter sauce must be homemade because it's so good and it went perfectly with my fish and fries😋 I had the whole fish plate with 2 sides for 13.99. They even had a few sweets at the counter to choose from. We took ours to go, but there is the dine in option available. I will definitely be back and try other dishes this place...

The cheeseburger was SO DELICIOUS!!! It reminded me of how my grandma Honey made her burgers-thick, juicy good! It also had nice slices of tomatoes and red onions. I was pleased to see the french fries were the good seasoned ones I like. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo... Y'ALL, this is by far the BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD AT A RESTAURANT IN THIS TOWN, EVER!!!!! Do yourself a favor and go check...
