This is a really nice park. It's obvious that it's older now, but it's really unique in so many ways. A lot of people and businesses sponsored parts of the playground built and it's really neat. Some areas on the playground need to be fixed and are blocked off. I'm not sure who is supposed to fix them, the people who sponsored those sections or the town, but either way someone should get out there and fix the sections needing fixing. Other than that, it's a great playground set in a field to play soccer, throw ball, ride a bike or walk the trails, eat under the pavilion away the picnic tables and really great for parties! I would suggest they change their hours on google, because it showed they are only open until 7pm and there were still many people on the playground at that time. We left at 8pm and there were still people on the playground. I think the hours need to be adjusted for summer. There's no direct wheel chair access, but you could take the trail down and around into the playground. There's bathrooms, wheel chair accessible as well. There's plenty of parking. Plenty of tables to eat. Plenty of room to play ball.

The story on this playground is so sad, but it's heart warming to know the community came together to create this...

A very nice playground with the positive aspects outweighing the negative. Positive: Well kept, lots of activities and places within the castle-like structure to explore, rubber mulch abound to cushion kids when they fall, many swings, covered pavillion, fenced in, beautiful setting, and much more. Negative: can get extremely crowded, often times parents bring kids that are too old to be playing on the playground that overwhelm the age group for which Annie's was designed for, the rubber mulch is starting to degrade and causes any light colored clothing or shoes to turn gray, parents/kids often forget to clean up their garbage, leaving it on the playground instead of in park supplied garbage cans. Overall, a far above average place to bring children of appropriate age to play (4th grade and under in my...

I am hoping I can come back in a few months and change this to a 5-star review. We unfortunately went when the rubber ground was being laid for the new little kids area and could not get away from the smell, which was headache-inducing. Somehow none of the workers were wearing masks, which is certainly an OSHA issue. The old tire chips in the bigger kid area are also pretty headache-inducing (aside f/being unsafe for little kids), so I hope those are on the slate for replacement too. I hope they included increased funding for maintenance along with the improvement budget, cause there is a serious poison ivy issue around the benches next to the tee-ball area. Overall, a beautiful resource with a lot of potential - looking forward to...

Recently we were told about Annie’s Playground at Edgeley Grove Park. After a week of rain, we decided we needed to get out of the house and move our bodies. This place was massive and did not disappoint. There is something for everyone. Our daughter especially loved all the slides. Also in the park are hiking trails, fields and picnic tables. We spent about two hours there but you could definitely make it an entire day. 📍Annie’s Playground 864 Smith Lane Harford County 🕐 7am-8 pm (listed online) 🅿️ free parking 🚻 indoor bathrooms located near the playground . . #harfordcounty #travel #parents #parks #toddlerhacks #familytravel #explore #visitmaryland #visitdmv #travel #baltimore #visitbaltimore

It's been a special place for me ever since I was a kid, and now, seeing my own boys enjoy it just as much brings a huge smile to my face. The playground offers such a wonderful blend of nostalgia and excitement. The creativity and thought put into the play structures make it a haven for little adventurers. I appreciate how it caters to different age groups, ensuring that all my three boys can have a blast in their own way. Plus, the scenic surroundings and tranquil atmosphere add to the experience. I can't wait to continue making lasting memories with my family at Annie's Playground! It truly deserves a heartfelt 5-star rating.
