The creek and the parallel trail goes for 12 miles without any sight of a house. It is pure serenity in the midst of a highly urbanized area.
The area around the creek is teeming with wildlife. We saw catfish, pan fish, a snake, turtles, and all sorts of insects and birds.
The creek isn't too deep, so wading in the water is possible. Just watch out for some deeper valleys if you decide to do so.
