TLDR- Amazing Quality, Decent Prices for the Area (and the times we live in), and all served with a friendly atmosphere and staff! Upon first visiting this unassuming sushi place nestled at the end of a small strip mall in Cabin John proper, you would never expect much. No, not that strip mall with the Co-Op, the other one. This could not be opposite of the truth after my visit. Let me start off by saying I grew up in this area until I was 8 and then spent my time between Annapolis and Kent Island, MD. I know good seafood, and this place has spectacular seafood and quality options. Even when the default for something like a Maryland Roll is imitation crab, the option for real crab is always available. You pay for what you get and I am a strong supporter of that proponent of the business especially when the presentation and assembly is as professional as it is here. The sushi itself beyond the quality is decently priced and served with a friendly demeanor! The atmosphere inside is definitely intimate - which is a draw to some and a repellent to others so just make sure you’re aware of this before visiting. I’ve gone three times, twice for dine-in and once for takeout and the outstanding experience I’ve come to be delightedly expectant to hasn’t changed. Edited: also wanted to add they have tons of local-inspired sushi speciality rolls that are well worth the money. I would highly recommend the cabin John roll if you like salmon! Cannot recommend this place enough, it’s run by good people who provide a good service at a good price.

Local sushi place that just opened in a quaint spot. For the size of the place, they did a great job creating a cozy restaurant. My only disappointment in my experience was the pan fried Salmon Teriyaki. I asked if it can be cooked rare, to which the server agreed to. I will say it was a generous serving of salmon; however, the pieces were quite thin so it came out fully cooked. Also the teriyaki seemed to be an afterthought as it was just a glaze poured on top of the salmon after it was plated. The dressing on their salad was more of a soy sauce flavored dressing, that was tasty and unique from other Japanese places. Drink options are pre-bottled soft drinks, green teas, and other Asian inspired options in their fridge display. Small team of what looked like 3 people (which includes the chef in the back, sushi chef up front, and our server) running the place. They were all smiles and very polite.

Let me begin by saying that my family and I enjoy the owners and their food so much that we followed them here from their previous restaurant in Woodbridge, VA. We drive an hour to get here, and it's worth it! Sushi N You has very fresh and delicious sushi. I'm a lifetime sushi lover and have had it all over the country, and this is one of the best restaurants for quality that I've ever eaten at. The prices are very fair, and the portions are generous with the perfect balance between rice and fish. The owners are kind and friendly, and they make a point of knowing their customers. The place is clean and classy. I definitely recommend Sushi N You!

To start with I've been going to this restaurant ever since it opened earlier in the fall. I've always had a good memo about this restaurant however, today was a different story. I had brought my family friends over to dine in, everything was going well and we were sat right in front of the Sushi-Men. Our server was nice and took our orders quickly and were met with accommodation. However soon after we got our appetizers we were met with yelling from the owner to the waiters. The bickering was going on for quite some time right before we got our rolls and sashimi. It heavily ruined the atmosphere of the dining experience, and we have never been met with this type of situation before. Not only the quality of the fish is not the best, it's as if it came frozen and the pieces tasted as if it's been left out for days. Not the best quality of fish I've seen from sushi restaurants. Hence the 2 star review, not the best in Maryland. I have...
