This is the only remaining covered bridge in Baltimore and Harford Counties, reportedly haunted. It's just past the headquarters of Gunpowder Park. If you're coming from the gunpowder Parkside and go through it there's a neighborhood that must be pretty old in American terms, as the buildings themselves and their layout make it seem very much like a small town center from the past.

I took my teenage daughter there and we got there just before sunset in late winter and drove around a bit until it got dark. Nothing seemed unusual about the place. We went back again, after dark and quite late, a couple of weeks later. It was palpably different. We didn't see anything, but it certainly felt like a haunted bridge. She went back with her Dad and took her dog, a yellow lab. She said it felt weird again and her dog seemed afraid. He is afraid of many things, though, as he's still a puppy.

Very nice day trip. The bridge makes a great place for pictures. The entire area is peaceful and relaxing. The mill is interesting, along with the general store, wood shop, and kitchen. Next time, I will pack a picnic.

Neat covered bridge still in use. Chatters like crazy when you cross it! Other historical sites in the nearby town of Jerusalem.
