This is the only remaining covered bridge in Baltimore and Harford Counties, reportedly haunted. It's just past the headquarters of Gunpowder Park. If you're coming from the gunpowder Parkside and go through it there's a neighborhood that must be pretty old in American terms, as the buildings themselves and their layout make it seem very much like a small town center from the past.
I took my teenage daughter there and we got there just before sunset in late winter and drove around a bit until it got dark. Nothing seemed unusual about the place. We went back again, after dark and quite late, a couple of weeks later. It was palpably different. We didn't see anything, but it certainly felt like a haunted bridge. She went back with her Dad and took her dog, a yellow lab. She said it felt weird again and her dog seemed afraid. He is afraid of many things, though, as he's still a puppy.
Supposedly, if you pull in and turn your headlights off, you'll see people hanging from the top. There is a ghostly screaming woman, I think. There may be some kind of creature reported. People also find little handprints on their cars. If you search on it online, you'll pull up some of the stories.
