Free air!! I inhaled plenty on this trail. This trail started in the forest then continues on the long boardwalk through the marshland with an amazing view. You can see the Old Ferry Landing where people go fishing. This trail al other trails are dogfriendly except for the Dunes Nature Trail.

The walk out on the trail was just long enough, short but not to short. Filled with a peaceful walk through the woods , a couple of small stops to enjoy some info, and then opening up to a beautiful panatamic view of the water from a nicely raised platform.

This is a nice path - short and easy. A good portion of it is boardwalk as well. This is a great spot to see birds! However, I would suggest a hat or sunscreen because the sun can be a little brutal once you get on the boardwalk.

The trail begins at a parking lot and then heads into a maritime forest before ending at an elevated boardwalk trail that offers great views of Chincoteague Bay. Trail was well maintained and was not too hot even on a hot day as there is plenty of shade. Would definitely go back for the...
