Who doesn't like Cades cove? Their picnic area is amazing and has plenty of space for the tourist who wants a nice, quaintspot to enjoy the outdoors away from all of the traffic on the strip. This is a must see location if you are visiting Gatlinburg or Pigeon forge. Please don't make the trip without visiting Cades cove. Along the way you will pass a burger joint near Towsend, it has an ice cream cone on the top. Don't pass that up if you're hungry! We hung our hammocks upright next to the small Creek that was running through the picnic area. It was...

Omg, if you've never been this is a must see! We got to see a Bear and some Deer's and wild horses & turkey's! We are definitely going back next year on our Vacation for either our 13th year wedding anniversary in July or for our Birthdays in November! We haven't made up our minds just yet when we are taking our Vacation but I'd love to go back in November when all the leaves...

Saw this beautiful buck. His antlers in their velvet. This buck will have a super large set of antlers this fall. Great visit today to Cades Cove always something different to see. Had a great time with the family. The sad part of the day was some ofthe younger generation seem to not be able to visit without carving or writing their name on the historical building.

The perfect place to stop and eat lunch with your family or friends. There are many, many picnic tables and standup grills. It's right before the start of the Cades Cove loop, so it makes a fun afternoon to eat here then drive slowly through the loop, maybe stopping in some grassy areas or even to hike Abrams Falls.
