Beautiful beach about a mile before you enter Paia from the west (Wailuku). Covered picnic bench area, fresh water rinse (it's in the middle of the sand, and is just a short length of hose on a spigot, so washing the sand off your feet feels a bit futile). Has a lifeguard station and ample dirt lot parking. Came here for the sunset and was not disappointed. You can watch the planes leave the airport from here, so take that as a plus or a minus, depending on your state of mind.

Visited this beach/park on a recent visit to Maui. The water was beautiful blue and the sand was not too soft and not too rough. We were there on Thursday February 27 about midday and there were people there but not overly busy.
