Great company and awesome folks who stand behind their products. We have been getting their delicious pineapples for several years. We even plant the pineapple tops to grow mini versions of their wonderful pineapples. Wanted to share how great this company is. Our shipment was delayed coming to Virginia due to the polar vortex. They arrived several days late and frozen.No fault of the Maui Gold company. It could have been easy for them to say it was not their fault due to the winter storm. Definitely true since UPS had left the package in an area without heat and not take any action to prevent the pineapples from freezing. Not Maui Gold 🙂 They took accountability and sent a replacement shipment! No haggling or push back. The new shipment arrived today. Temps in Virginia are in the mid 20s and 30s. Saw on major NY Area World News Tonight - "MADE IN AMERICA SERIES" - film clip of Maui Gold Pineapple. Checked on line and ordered family box for Christmas. Had to change delivery date set though to earlier one, due to blizzards in the Midwest headed towards the East Coast where we live. Maui Gold reps were very understanding (despite having a torrential rainstorm in their area, which halted picking and THEIR schedule for one day), but somehow accommodated the new delivery date. In a little more than 24 hours after shipping, UPS delivered at our front door a very attractive box (with handles even and decorated with pineapples), from Maui Gold. Can't open until Christmas Eve (tomorrow), but based on how the Company worked with me, their customer, I am confident that the pineapples will be DELICIOUS. (Will update post).
