Jakes Rocks — Attraction in Mead Township

Includes great views (both by walking paths and by drive along quiet mtn roads), the peacefulness of the forest here is amazing, as you'll usually only see one or two other groups there on any given Sat. afternoon. There are several rock clusters that can be used by the younger members (less than 10m high) to climb on, with other rocks very accessible to the older people to lay in the sun on. My son and I attended TrailFest this past fall! We had an awesome time. Well organized, and awesome mountain biking trails. Great views, and the trails are accessible from Dew Drop campground. Don't expect much cell service unless up on top near the lookouts. Inhave a video or two on YouTube (username is channel name). Lots of other videos of the trails as well. I plan to return again...
