Beautiful trail, especially with the additive touch of fall colours if you’re visiting September-November. There is a set of stairs through a nice big rock as you first start, that would probably be an issue for anyone claustrophobic though as it is quite tight.
Only issue with this route is that it’s an In-and-Out so you pretty much walk the same trail twice. We did end up walking all the way down and across the street to the “beach” area, which was beautiful however. There is an option to park at the bottom and follow the trail up, essentially going backwards, which I would have preferred as it is a bit of an incline at times going back to the top.

Read moreThe trail is pretty easy, but should still be a decent workout. The trail was mostly free of people. The trail leads to the overlook. The overlook is amazing, but it's packed with tourist because of this reason. It's also right next to the parking lot... I wish they would remove the parking lot so it might deter the parents and kids who won't bare the small hike. It would at least zap some of their energy and limit the screaming kids! If you don't mind other people, check out the overlook. It really is an amazing view if you can get around people...
