Just came back and had a terrible experience. The wagon ride was nice, it was pleasant walking among the trees, and the field workers were helpful. We found a tree, but as it was a tree not known for holding its needles, we opted to not bring it home today. We asked a worker if we could tag it and cut it ourselves next weekend, he said sure. When I got to the register to pay for it, however, the owner had a fit and told me it was very clear in the brochure that if I want to cut it myself I had to take it today. When I told her that I asked someone in the field, she got all upset and said they are part-time workers and only know what is in the pamphlet (apparently, I should have carefully studied this pamphlet). As I was with my family, I tried to remain calm and polite. After some more ranting by the owner, she offered to make an exception. When I stepped away to talk to my family, she proceeded to talk extremely loudly about me to other customers and how I wanted her to bend the rules for me and "life is hard.". Honestly, had she politely explained to me how it worked and just owned it that one if her employees made a mistake, I would've been fine. Either way, she was going to get my $75. After hearing her trash me in front of other people though, I dropped the tag on the desk and walked away. I was going to come back next weekend to get my tree and bring 3 other neighborhood families. Now, none of us are coming back. Customer service...
Read moreThis was a nice walk through light experience. The property is HUGE and there's so much to see! It seemed to be all handmade, making it even more impressive. They have all kinds of unique set ups filled with trinkets around every bend of the path.
*If doing the 3D walk through, be aware -whatever type of glasses (patterns on the sides) you pick are what you'll see when looking at the lights. My husband and I spent a good 10 minutes feeling stupid looking for the object the other one kept seeing. We eventually pieced it together 🤣
There was an amazing village set up that was stunning and has you standing there in awe!
They had a grinch, photos with Santa & reindeer (reindeer was a little scary looking) and even a snowman walking around.
There were a few fire pits you could roast marshmallows on and make smores. They had a little snack shop area that sold hot cocoa, s'mores kits, chips, little snacks.
When leaving, you have to walk through the gift shop -They had a lot of pretty generic gifts, knick knacks, and ornaments.
Overall, for it being on a farm and everything looking handmade/repurposed, it shows the true dedication and passion the staff have and what they want to share with other people. I appreciate all the love that you can see within...
Read moreI will never go back. We went to pick out a Christmas tree and the first thing that was off putting was that the trees were lying and leaning all over the place rather than being presented nicely organized and standing upright. The second thing was one of the two women that were ringing customers up was EXTREMELY rude to another customer who was trying to negotiate the price of a tree. At one point she even yelled "Dont irritate me anymore!" So this customer gathered his two small children and left without a tree. And then she continued to loudly talk bad about him in front of the rest of us customers waiting in line. She was a disgusting example of customer service. She either needs to be fired or if she's the owner she needs to recognize that she is NO ONE and to have a little respect for people who choose to spend their money at this establishment rather than, as she put it, "go to Home Depot and buy a $20 tree if you can't pay these prices". She was a complete witch and the place was...
