Great for being able to get right into nature quickly as its right off the main road. You can feel totally solitary even though it's just a few steps away from the hustle & bustle. There are a few pathways to walk and its quite large but not so big you'd get lost. Its right alongside the cemetary so you could walk there to. There is a pond or small lake in there with a lookout dock. Who woulda thunk it, but it's all in there. Also there's some type of historic house there it seems lived in with cars parked outside. On the other hand, the third-growth woods around it is laced with informal bike paths and walking paths, and during the leafy months these would be like tunnels through the forest and very attractive. The ponds are nice, and the short boardwalk and viewing deck are safe. A rotted spot in a railing has been covered with a very attractive panel of cross stitching.
