I'd like to share a very disappointing experience on July 5th, 2025, that I had at Kitchen & Market at the Medina location. While shopping for groceries and enjoying a coffee with my friend Jane at the store, I politely asked for a cup of water. To my surprise, I was told -rather curtly- that water is only available for purchase. This was unexpected, especially since during a previous visit, I had been offered water with my coffee without any issue. When I expressed my confusion, the staff member (a woman of Far East origin) continued to be dismissive and rude. I found the interaction unnecessarily abrasive and not at all in keeping with the welcoming environment I had experienced before. Another Google review also describes a similarly combative attitude from the same individual. If she remains on staff, it could seriously impact the business's reputation. I'll be steering clear of this location." It's unfortunate that a thoughtful concept--one that Stephanie clearly put care and intention into--is being undermined by poor customer service. Experiences like this can have a lasting impact on customer loyalty. It felt as though the staff member would have rather been anywhere else--and unfortunately, that lack of enthusiasm came through in the way she treated paying customers. I support sharing this feedback, especially since Stephanie--the owner--isn't likely to witness these interactions firsthand. Multiple honest reviews about the staff may help paint a more accurate picture of the experience customers are having. On a more positive note, my friend's sons really enjoyed everything she picked up from the store. She sliced up some cold roast beef and sautéed it with green beans and Stephanie's stir-fry sauce - it turned out great. Stephanie's concept of providing curated meal shortcuts really worked for them!

Stopped by after a quick stop at the post office next door. The store was clean and uncluttered - everything is neatly in its place - somewhat akin to Wholefoods except prettier and pricier. Bought some pastries and refrigerated deli items. The Artichoke & Goat Cheese Dip was awesome, even though it is extremely salty AND you have to keep spitting out the inedible, tough artichoke parts. The cookies - that they apparently bake right in the store - was warm, soft and chewy. It is definitely nice to finally have a store where otherwise there was none nearby for a long time.

Nice market with fine kitchen articles. Good selection of wines. Clerks are kind and efficient. I bought a nice french red wine, some olives garlic toast and dry tomatos. They have a good selection of cheese.

I love Kitchen & Market! During Covid we purchased a Mother's Day Kit and ever since then we have been devoted to Stephanie and her work! We love the meal kits. They are all delicious, easy to prepare and fun. The Medina space is amazing. A great little market that carries wonderful, high quality items but also great healthy pre-made sandwiches, salads, baked goods as well as premade items. If you need a meal kit or just want to pick up a snack Kitchen & Market in Medina...
