First time visiting mequons nature preserve, very nice experience the office was closed I visited on a Sunday so that explains that , the trails are great and very easy to follow the map is very accurate as well with some spots missing but I would be very surprised if someone got lost here, a variety of terrain from mulch to paved to grass and gravel like I said very easy I had a stroller and had no issues (bicycle wheels fyi)the tower has a great view I believe it's the main attraction for most people ,the place is very well taken care off as far as I could tell for the most part the trails have little to no shade so be ready pets are allowed on a leash ,parking is plentiful and free there are restrooms available as well and some picnic tables available too overall great spot for a long...

Walked to the Watch Tower which provides an amazing view of the area. They have field telescopes (is that the correct name?) that you can look into to see out even farther.

An all around impressive facility and experience!

ps - they have both indoor toilets and outside...

We hiked to Paul’s pond, the observation deck, Christine’s painted pond and around back to the Stretch family wetlands. I so appreciate when a town shares its countryside like this. Kudos to the people who made it possible and those who continue their good work. The gentleman at the front desk from New Jersey made it all the more interesting. I really enjoyed the center itself especially the...
