It's a really beautiful Lake but believe it or not the numbers of people are dropping over the years because the beaches are just absolutely disgusting. The grass isn't grass it's stickers . You have to wear shoes to walk on this glass it's so horrible . And if you don't step in a sticker you might step in goose poop. This poop and feathers are floating in the water no matter where you swim. They need some kind of filtration system just in the local area of swimming and maybe a machine that cleans the beach sand. So it's a beautiful view but it feels a little unsanitary . Needs to be cleaned up and some grass needs to be planted and water the grass with some of that water it isn't like there is a shortage of water to water the grass. And why not put a fence over the pier where kids jump off and die . You'd think that enough people have died that money could be spent to fence it under the water and put a dome over the top it shouldn't cost billions of dollars. That Lake probably makes enough in one month to do that. So somebody needs to stop being greedy and fix things and clean up. If you need more insight on how to make this Lake better just hit me up...
Read moreBeautiful experience at this lake no matter what part of the lake I go to! The bathrooms were clean and stocked and hand soap provided. The bathrooms were cement floors and beige brick walls and wooden beams with wire to keep it ventilated. There is a place were you cab rent paddle boards and you can fish, you can take your boat. There is a playground. Plenty of tables to eat. There is several beach areas to wade in and have the kids build sandcastles or just sun bathe. There's a beautiful dock for a better view of the water. There is a fee from 8- 5 but it's not much like $6 and if you go after 5... although I went at 4 and no one was there then it's free. You can also buy for the season. There's some wild life and a portion in the very back is for reservations for big parties.. it can cost a couple $100. On the weekends and holidays it is packed so I would suggest to come early to get a shady spot or bring a canopy and chairs for shade and seating. You'd want to brink your own beverages. But clean up after yourself because we don't want this beautiful lake trashed. When I just want to feel serene I come here. You should...
