My son and I visit the park almost daily. On those days put good deed is picking up as much trash as we can in 5 min. However we did stop doing that after unexpectedly coming across a ripped t shirt that had needles and other obvious drug paraphernalia. The Dragon Park could use some major TLC from the City. I believe Few years back a levy didn't pass on Mercer Island. That ugly decision is now being seen in the parks and playgrounds our children play at. newer residents including myself and my 6yr old

The children's park has a play area with a dragon climbing structure so I believe this is how it got its name. We were there for a child's birthday party and there was a nice covered gazebo with multiple picnic tables. This children's park has shaded play areas including a castle and swings, one for handicapped children, and also trails. Highly recommend!! The adjacent park has a huge amazing artificial turf...
