Nice park to watch the Blue Angels during Seafair if you live in Mercer Island or Bellevue. We arrived about 2.5 hours before the show. The parking lot was already full but there’s street parking along the main road and it’s a short but steep walk to the park. Entry to the park was limited to 500 people, which was nice because it doesn’t get overcrowded. We enjoyed relaxing by the water prior to the show and watched people out on the water, swimming, boating, and picnicking on the shore. Traffic isn’t bad leaving after the show, we were out of Mercer Island...

The water access is a very steep hill going down seemed fun at first, but hard on the knees. The return trip was a battle to keep air going to the lungs. Nice grass area area and restrooms and outside shower.

I was there with my young grandchildren, not the best beach , rocks and stones you have to walk over to get into the shallow water. Very hard on the barefooted. I will have to wear water shoes if we go back.

There is a metal ladder to access the water with a retaining wall to get into about 3 foot water. ...

Small park that gets heavy use during Seafair, it can handle all that if you walk in but do not expect to use a popup shelter etc unless you arrive several hours ahead. There is a decent paved steep incline to the park that can handle rolling carriers etc. Nice sand beach which is walled off from the water, toddlers cannot stand in the water at the park but 3-4 y/o and.up could with watchful adults. No lifeguard. There is a large no fishing or boating pier to jump off of. There are small bathrooms...

Low key chill atmosphere. I grew up nearby and dated a girl who lived literally 100 steps from the parking lot. Many great memories all fun times. Hidden sand volleyball court🏐🤫 No glass bottles or 🚭 please. Keep our parks clean and inviting 🙂 Also being a Personal Trainer here on Mercer Island, i can't help to mention how incredibly Awesome/steep the hill is to access the park. Very challenging 👏👏👏👍🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♂️🏋️‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️💪😎 GREAT PLACE TO DO A EARLY MORNING WORKOUT🌞
